Tropical NY founded in 1996 by Aochan Nagamoto in New York City. Tropical NY successfully created a Salsa and Brazilian dance network in New York and the school has become well-known among dance communities.
In 2004, Tropical NY has expanded network to Japan and Thailand. Aochan spearheads the studio in Tokyo and Apple teaches classes in Bangkok.
Tropical NY's teaching focuses on leading and following techniques and how to dance smoothly.
